I read on Microsoft’s website Here , that the physical memory limits for a x64 server R2 Standard machine is 4TB. That sounded insane to me, I was hoping someone would verify that I indeed do live in a box and servers can handle that much memory. I am checking to see if the problem has been resolved. If there’s anything you’d like to know, please feel free to ask.

I have an issue where a Windows Server R2 Standard is only utilising 64gb of ram when the server has gb installed. So at most 64GB ish for all DBs, which could quite easily already be cached, your image shows 63GB in use and in total you have about that in DBs, some of which is likely not cached simply because its temporary and changes a lot or is white space and there is likely to be some compression in there too.
I think you’ve established why it isn’t using more and that the system can use it all, hopefully it all makes sense to you and you have your answer. I would watch the Available MBs counter for a while and see how much free memory there is most of the time and if there is enough, then increase the memory limits of SQL Server.
