None of the above methods worked for me. Calculator stopped working after latest update pushed to my pc by IT. Another note, Notepad also stopped working as well. The workarounds are unacceptable.

As instructed I uninstalled it then opened Windows Power shell as Administrator and copied and pasted the code line shown. It did take a little bit of time time to wash a sink of dishes and when I looked for Calculator, it was reinstalled and would open. I tried deleting the folder but it stops, saying that folder is open. I had logout of it already. This is an addition to my comment of yesterday. BIG thanks to all involved with that method.
