Adjusting the health settings for the game really improves the TTK and the game is a lot more fun. Even after playing the new Modern Warfare in , I keep coming back to Ghosts cause its so dam fun. I’m mostly playing custom games with custom restrictions against up to 14 Bots and its a blast.

I think MW may have made me a better ghosts player lol The custom dlcs skins are fun too like soap, and Capt Price. Just makes sure if you’re buying this for PC you buy it new and not used there is a code you have to enter to install it and play. Too be fair this game isn’t really that bad, however, on that note, because of how IW presented it, its actually horrible.

Why do I say this? I just bought a new laptop and even upgraded my graphics card to the highest available and after installing the game, I can only barely run it at about avg settings. My main issue with this game as with all pc games is the hackers. IW still decided to go with Steam, for which everyone knows, is pretty much is the green light for hackers to play.

But even without the hackers, the maps just aren’t that fun or interesting. Yes, some maps are huge, but with only 12 players running in it, its not very exciting. They IW said that there are game changing dynamics that will happen and this adjust how you play. Not really. Example: Map: Warhawk. Full map attack on enemy team. If you run into a building you can wait it out. Map: Whiteout. The good thing or bad depends on your point of view is that there are no more “pure” camp spots, where you can get 25 straight kills without dying.

You can probably go at most 10, on average before you die if you dont hack, or get really, Really lucky thus its impossible to get the loki satellite, unless through random luck from completing a field order.

I do like the modifications you can do on weapons and perks, but not so much the fact you can’t upgrade the perks. So your always giving something up for something else. If you want more basics perks, then you have to get rid of a side arm or grenade. But then what can you expect from IW nowdays? Their best work was MW, but ever since a portion of that dynamic team left, they’ve been going down hill. And it shows. On average I see about 3, players on. It’s sad to see how far the people in charge of IW have let the game fall, and I don’t think they’ve even hit rock bottom yet, untill no one buys there games, because there will always be gamers like me who hope that the creators will make the next one will better, and then be disappointed when we actually have the game installed.

From other reviewers you’ll see just how much of a system taxation it is to run the game, and that’s just disappointing. I purchased Ghosts on for the PC – perhaps this was my first mistake, but I have general dislike for paying extra fees to enjoy online gaming.

Put simply, I do not feel this is a bad game. Unfortunately, that’s about where it ends. The single player missions cover a wide variety scenarios and settings, ranging from the jungles, deserts, snowy mountains, to even the bottom of the ocean and space.

The presentation was stunning, but the game never really takes time to really immerse you in the atmosphere. The missions follow a similar plot for the most part – kill the bad guys and get from points A to B. There are a few neat features, such as the ability to control a guard dog, in addition to attack drones, tanks, and planes.

The final few missions were enjoyable however – allowing the player to see the story unfold from multiple perspectives and battlefronts. The story is another let down and wastes the opportunity to create brand new heroes by creating forgettable characters that do not stand out. The plot is straightforward, predictable, and leaves much to be desired.

The multiplayer system seems interesting on paper. There are now several ways to create custom and detailed classes best suited for different types of maps or modes. The maps are very visually appealing, with details like thunder, rain, snow, and dust storms that can be observed during combat. I feel that while the game is balanced for the most part, the assault rifles are slightly over-powered in multiplayer; They have a much faster time to kill compared to other COD games imo.

The game has also introduced a new spawning system. Rather than having 2 to 4 fixed spawns based on the locations of enemies, players can spawn in random places on the map.

This is useful for stopping spawn trapping or preventing enemies from trapping a team in one spot, but sometimes creates odd problems when players spawn well behind enemy lines or in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, there are the biggest issue on the PC right now is the lag or choppy gameplay whenever playing online. Even with high-end gaming hardware and a fast internet connection, I still find myself and other players about a half-step behind.

Other times, I notice player models seemingly skipping across the battlefield. But even more critical, the game seemingly crashes sometimes when loading maps.
